Trailhead Cannabis Company is a family-owned craft cannabis operation built in Brainerd, Minnesota, on a philosophy they call "Tree to Table." The idea is simple and the execution is genuine: grow it upstairs, make it downstairs, sell it at the counter, and keep the feedback loop between all three as short as possible. At 17951 Highway 371, across from Brainerd International Raceway, Trailhead operates 5,000 square feet of indoor flowering canopy in the same building as their solventless production lab and their retail dispensary. That proximity is intentional. When cultivation, manufacturing, and retail share walls, the decisions that shape quality stay with the people responsible for it. What the grow produces goes directly to the shelf with its story intact, and what customers respond to comes directly back to the rooms where it's made. This is what vertical integration looks like when it's built around craft rather than just efficiency. Trailhead maintains a working genetics library, selecting cultivars specifically for how they flower, how they taste, and their potential as solventless extract material. A perpetual indoor program means every room has a purpose and the team stays close to each bench and each batch through a full cycle of harvest, careful drying and curing, and finished product.
The Trailhead Reserve is their flagship flower line: batches chosen specifically for the jar, selected at harvest for the genetics and expression that represent Trailhead at its best. This isn't the whole harvest in a bag with a logo on it. It's a deliberate selection process where the team identifies which batches have earned the Reserve designation, then presents them at their peak. The Northwoods backdrop is part of what shapes the brand's identity: Brainerd is practical, close to the land, and not interested in pretense. Trailhead's own words capture it: "We show the work because the process is part of the product." Their transparency is genuine, from published COA lab results to strain-level documentation of the genetics in their cultivation library. They've backed that reputation with results: Trailhead's GG4 live rosin vape earned a Legacy Cup VII win, recognized in competition as one of the standout solventless products in Minnesota's legal market. While Frostbite carries their flower, the same standards that produced a Legacy Cup-winning extract inform how Trailhead approaches everything they grow..
Why Shop Frostbite for Trailhead Cannabis Company Products in Roseville, MN
Frostbite Dispensary carries Trailhead Cannabis Company flower because it represents exactly what Minnesota craft cannabis should look like: a family-owned, vertically integrated operation in Brainerd that controls every step from genetics to the jar, publishes its COAs openly, and has the competition results to back up its quality claims. For Frostbite customers in Roseville and the north metro who want to try something from outside the metro's immediate orbit, Trailhead flower is a direct connection to a genuine Northwoods craft operation that most Twin Cities residents wouldn't encounter otherwise. The Brainerd Lakes area has a strong cultural identity in Minnesota, and Trailhead reflects it honestly: unpretentious, quality-focused, built by people who care about the work. Shopping Trailhead at Frostbite is a way to reach that product without the two-hour drive up Highway 371.
The Trailhead Reserve flower in particular is worth knowing about. This isn't commodity wholesale flower sourced off a distributor's rack. It's batch-selected from a 5,000-square-foot indoor canopy by a team that also makes award-winning live rosin from the same genetics, which tells you something meaningful about how seriously they take what grows in those rooms. Our budtenders can walk you through which Trailhead strains are currently in stock and what each batch is expressing.
